The Offshore Bar was one of the first bars to be located on Nanai Road some 12 years ago when the road was nothing like it is today. Since then, the bar has seen a few changes of owners and a couple of face lifts but essentially the atmosphere has remained the same – a great place to meet with friends new and old and have a drink and good food, without the hustle and bustle found on Bangla Road. 

The Bar is currently owned by Gianluigi and has made very few changes to the bar in the last year. The kitchen is open and serving great food from 9 am to 1 am.

We offer a wide selection of drinks and are always adding to our stock of imported beers.

Good quality bar food is also available and includes an all day English breakfast which is one of the top five available on the Island according to the Andaman Post. 

We have a competition level pool table and are members of the Patong Pool League with matches most Mondays. Details of how we are doing can be found on this website (Tournaments page). The dart board is also competition quality with an electronic score board. As some team members have to work offshore every so often we are always looking for good pool players to join the team, even if you are here on holiday! Whatever your ability, there is always someone in the bar who will play pool or darts with you.

If watching sports is more your thing we show the majority of major sporting events on our big screen TV with full commentary. Saturday and Sunday nights are always great to watch English Premiership football in the Offshore.

We host some great parties here too (have a look at some of the photos) so if you have a special occasion to celebrate, we would be happy to help.

Many of our friends at the Offshore Bar are living and working here in Patong and their extensive knowledge of the Island can help make your stay here much more enjoyable.

Business Cards and Printing - SP Internet, Nanai Road, 087-069-0576. Sean provides all our business cards and menus. He has also printed the photographs you can see on the wall of the Bar. He provides a quick and good valued service.

Motor Bike Hire - Bee's Bike Hire, 087-888-6491. Owned by a couple of the Offshore regulars. Good prices for clean bikes with hotel delivery and collection.

Tours & Travel - You don't have to leave the bar to book any tours or make travel arrangements! Noi will come to the bar and make the bookings for you.
